Yes, this is yet another blog by someone whom will probably, by the end of the week, have forgotten about it. So, lets get the pleasantries done; I'm Oli, i'm 15 and in year 11. I'm hard working, yet fun to be around. In this blog, i'll update you with everything that happens to me, as well as commenting on real life issues (Yea, i know, i actually watch the news!) And give my opinion on music and films. Lastly, but definatley not least, i'll moan. I'm an absolutely top grade moaner, and shall moan ALOT, so, if you don't like moaner... You might wanna try the bunny wunny Blog i saw earlier today.
So, what happened today? Well to be honest, not much. First of all we had assembly, where a certain RS teacher tried to sell us the whole GCSE course instead of the half one we are doing now, i'm in the top set for RS, so naturally we all went for it. That is, untill we got to first lesson, where our teacher, not the one selling the course to us, told us how she wont be teaching us the secound half of the course, and we would have to learn in ourselves, from a textbook. Now, correct me here, if i am wrong, but surely this is something that should have been mentioned in the earlier assembly !? It's so stupid.
Physics with Mr B was a bore as usual, the man always goes off on a tangent! I remember one time when we were talking about the weight of tanks on your foot, and how it probably wouldn't hurt as much as a car, because the mass is spread over a wider distance, well, during this time we somehow started talking about the countdown theme tune, and then while he was explaining about that he suddenly shouts 'TANKS' to try and bring the conversation back round to the thing we started about twenty minutes ago!
P.E was funny, i honestly can't play any sport for my life (Except Basketball, at 6ft 3, i'm good at basketball) We are playing Volleyball, and i just kept missing it, was all arlight though, because my team made up for it :p
Maths was really boring, i managed to do 42 questions on factorising this lesson, it was easy but time consuming, and Dan is in Florida at the moment, so no one to talk to.
Last lesson we had Chemistry, now i like chemistry, and the teacher. But what i do not like is the amount of work and pressure that is put on us to do well in the homework/GCSE's it's absolutely ridiculous. Every subject has had to turn up the pressure 4 fold to just keep on target, while in Sciences (Biology, Chemistry & Physics, we're in the top set) we are going at 8 fold the speed of last year because we are having to do so much in one lesson! Honestly, i don't know if everyone is going to be able to keep up with this pressure untill May.
This is all for this time, so untill next time Bai !
